Vertex R1 — Ergonomic Reclining Gaming Chair
A reclining ergonomic chair that works as hard at a desk as it does at 155°. Race-inspired side bolsters, real lumbar and neck cushions, and a steel-reinforced frame.
Full description
The Vertex R1 started from a simple observation: the people who sit longest are not always typing. They are designing, editing, streaming, reading, or taking a twenty-minute reset between sessions — and a fixed upright chair serves none of those well. The R1 gives you a genuine work posture and a genuine rest posture in one seat.
In work mode the back sits upright with the lumbar pillow positioned at the belt line and the neck pillow parked out of the way. The 4D armrests move in four directions, so you can bring them in tight for controller work or drop them level with the desk for keyboard and mouse. The seat uses cold-cure foam — denser and more resilient than the standard foam found in entry-level chairs — which means the front edge will not collapse under your thighs after a few months.
Then the recline. A single lever takes the back to 155° with the seat pan tilting in sync, so your hips and spine open together instead of shearing apart at the waist. Lock it anywhere in between for the half-lean that is genuinely the most comfortable way to read a long document. The side bolsters are shaped — not padded into a bucket — so they support the ribcage without forcing your shoulders forward.
The frame is steel-reinforced at the stress points, the base is widened for stability at full recline, and the casters are oversized and coated for quiet rolling on hard floors. Despite the presence, the silhouette is restrained: matte black with slate teal accents, no logos shouting across the backrest.
